Tony’s latest album Sum of the Parts combines refined songwriting with diverse sonic approaches to deliver a powerful collection of stories and insights. From whimsical folk ballads to political grunge, and from comic disco to piano meditations, the common thread is Tony’s resonant deep voice, while showcasing some amazing local musicians. Written over 10 weeks, the album journeys through personal and global themes including a period of drought and stress in Tony’s local environment.
In performance Tony collaborates to bring his songs to life in a range of settings, from sit down concerts to late night dance venues. His first band Green Jacket recorded 3 albums of untamed folk-punk, but he has since honed his craft as a songwriter, performer and recording musician. With over 25 years of experience he is highly regarded in the South West of Western Australia.
As a multi-instrumentalist, Tony writes and performs with acoustic and electric guitar, bazouki, mandolin, piano, violin and bass.
