Think left-of-field, ommpah-reggae, circus-punk, acousto-dub, and you start to get the idea of what Chief Monkey sound like. With three of the four band members writing songs and swapping instruments, Chief Monkey is dynamic, entertaining, thought provocative and extremely danceable!
Band members Tony Lane, Saul Cresswell, Mark Tupman and Scott Pearce have built a strong following in the South West of Western Australia, having played at festivals, venues and private parties. They are about to release an EP, but in the meantime, have a listen to their demo tracks on Band Camp.
Chief Monkey are also able to perform in their “Chilled Monkey Mode” without drummer Scottie, for smaller venues or quieter events.
